Biography

Linda Taylor is the guitarist and composer from ABC's "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" with Drew Carey, and the CW Network's new episodes premiering summer 2013. She has toured, recorded and/or performed with Art Garfunkel, Maia Sharp, Terri Lyne Carrington, Tracy Chapman, Sheila E., Christopher Cross, Edward Roth, Carlos Rios, Edwin McCain, Keb’ Mo’, Don Was, Jim Keltner, Richard Perry, Kirk Whalum, Namie Amuro, Chante Moore, Wayne Brady, Vesta Williams, Thelma Houston, Marilyn McCoo, Louis Price and more.

Film scoring includes "Through The Cracks" directed by Mark Ryan, and "Anatomy Of A Breakup" directed by Judy Minor. She has also been in several TV house bands including “The Roseanne Show”, “She-TV”, and “Dame Edna”.

Linda's recent recordings include Maia Sharp's "The Dash Between The Dates", Art Garfunkel's "The Singer", Edwin McCain's "Mercy Bound", and Terri Lyne Carrington's Grammy-winning "Mosaic Project", as well as her followup "Soul And Love”. She has two solo albums: “Pulse”, an acid jazz instrumental work and “Sum Blues” with her R&B band, Threshold, features guest performances by Keb’ Mo’. Linda and Maia Sharp co-produced Maia’s latest project, "The Dash Between the Dates."
